Ours is a 2026 Avalon luxury pontoon — brand new, still breaking in. The seats are supple, the sound system actually sounds good, and the two bimini tops give you real shade on a real Florida afternoon.
A lily pad ladder makes getting in and out of the water easy for everyone on board, and with lots of space on deck for up to 12 guests, there's room to actually relax.
Avalon builds some of the finest pontoons on the water. We went with their newest model because when you're spending a day on the Choctawhatchee Bay, the boat you're on matters.

About 30A Bay Charters
Jason Grill spent more than 20 years in medical sales and business leadership — including a stop on Shark Tank, where he and a business partner brought an original product to national television.
For years, 30A was where he and his wife Julie came to get away from all of that. Eventually they stopped leaving. When their kids were grown, they made it home.
30A Bay Charters grew out of that decision. Jason wanted a way for the people who love this place as much as he does to experience it from the water — on a private boat, at their own pace, without driving an hour to find one.

We run a 2026 Avalon 25-foot pontoon — a newer, well-appointed vessel built for a comfortable day on the water. Two bimini tops for shade, a lily pad ladder for easy water entry, a stocked cooler, and room for up to 12 guests without anyone feeling crowded.
